Does it make Oscar Isaac canon in the MCU?

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law'

So, in the first episode of 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', we get Bruce Banner eating Hot Cheetos with chopsticks – and it might not just be a nod to a renowned lifehack but a reference to… Oscar Isaac?

The whole thing unfolds in a car where Jennifer Walters and Bruce Banner discuss whether Captain America was a virgin. An important conversation is suddenly interrupted by a spaceship appearing right in front of their car. Jen has to push the brakes only for Bruce to let go of a signature pack of Hot Cheetos, with chopsticks that he apparently used to eat them flying all over the place.

Old-school Marvel fans immediately understood that reference. The thing is that Marvel's new star Oscar Isaac once went viral in 2016 because of a now-iconic photo of him rocking a red jumper and a beanie while holding a pack of Flamin' Hot Limón Crunchy Cheetos with chopsticks that he apparently used to enjoy the snack.

The photo quickly made meme material back at the time. Now, when Isaac himself is a Marvel star, having starred in 'Moon Knight ', it is a perfect time for the hilarious photo to resurface — all due to a less-than-subtle reference from 'She-Hulk' creators.

Bruce and Jennifer enjoy their Cheetos with chopsticks throughout the entire episode, not only in the car scene. When sitting at a beach bar, the two are also nibbling on Cheetos with some Oscar Isaac-worth class.

But why did Oscar Isaac use chopsticks to eat his Cheetos in 2016 anyway? According to the actor himself, he is "a sophisticated gentleman" who did not want "to get the powder on his fingers".

Marvel's Hulks seem to be just as sophisticated as him. Even though the two enjoy regular Hot Cheetos, not the Hot Limón Crunchy ones, it is more than likely that the chopsticks were homage to Oscar Isaac's viral photo.

'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' is currently streaming on Disney Plus, with new episodes scheduled to arrive every Thursday.
