After The Flash finished filming, Sasha Calle got to meet with Henry Cavill who gave her his seal of approval and made the Supergirl actress incredibly happy.

The drama between Henry Cavill and the WB/DCEU management has been going on for a long time now.

Because of that, in the upcoming movie The Flash where the actor's Superman was supposed to have a cameo, his face was cut out and his entire appearance only takes around two seconds of screen time.

Henry was also famously stripped from any future appearances as Superman after James Gunn became the new co-CEO of DC and started shaping the complete reboot.

The director himself claimed to have nothing against Cavill but shared that Henry "was getting d*cked around by the former regime at this company."

Despite such an attitude toward Cavill, the actor doesn't seem to hold any grudge now: he recently praised the quality of The Flash and even gave his blessing to his successor in this movie — Sasha Calle, the new Supergirl.

Sasha shared her feelings about meeting Henry in person with EW and was visibly excited.

"I gave him a big hug. You know, it's Henry Cavill, man! Our Man of Steel. He is kind and very proper, and it was a great experience. I asked him, 'Did I make you proud, cuz? Does Superman approve?'

And he was like, 'Absolutely. You did a phenomenal job.' I think, to me, that meant the world because it's Henry Cavill, Man of Steel," Calle explained cheerfully.

In The Flash, Sasha's character — Supergirl — is actually Superman's Kryptonian cousin who took his place on Earth after Ezra Miller 's Speedster messed up the timeline by changing the past, present, and future.

In the new reality, Cavill's Superman's never existed in the first place, but his cuz still hoped to see him.

Even though they never got to meet on the set and work together, the actress was more than happy with getting her favorite Man of Steel's blessing.

Granted, it only came after the movie was already done, but at least someone's Superman-related dream came true.
