Amazon Prime's biggest superhero TV show is getting ready to launch its third season, and it looks like fans will be quite pleased with the first action sequence.

The series about bad superheroes has become a worldwide phenomenon, proving that projects about guys in capes can be interesting to adult audiences as well. Fans can't wait to dive into the upcoming season, in which Billy Butcher (Karl Urban ) and his crew will finally gain superpowers to fight on par with the villainous Homelander (Anthony Starr).

Before the third season premiered, series' showrunner and series producer Eric Kripke spoke with SFX Magazine about the mind-blowing opening sequence awaiting fans.

"One tease I can say is, in the first 15 minutes of episode one we have not just the craziest sequence we have ever done, but the craziest sequence pretty much anybody has ever done. It's so jaw-droppingly insane. It's so much fun. It's the best job I have ever had, to think about this stuff," Kripke said.

Let's hope that fans won't be disappointed by the upcoming first episode, as the showrunner has certainly ramped up the anticipation considerably. Fans are eager to see what 'The Boys ' creative team has in store for them, passionately awaiting the continuation of Homelander's story.

'The Boys' season 3 will arrive on Amazon Prime on June 3, 2022.
