Kevin Malone is one of the funniest characters on The Office, both for the viewers of the sitcom and for his Dunder Mifflin coworkers – all thanks to Brian Baumgartner’s inspired portrayal.

Brian Baumgartner played accountant Kevin Malone since the very first season of The Office. Kevin is not very bright and is often the butt of the office’s jokes.

With each season, the character actually gets dumber and more child-like to the point of being sad. One thing stands out about him though – he had a girlfriend (who would later become fiancée and then ex-fiancée) who was way out of his league.

Kevin’s longtime partner, Stacy, is rather good-looking, and the rest of the office is pretty shocked to find out that Kevin has scored such a girl (lookist much?). Well, Brian Baumgartner does resemble his The Office character in one way – his wife is just as stunning!

An old wedding photo of Brian and his spouse, Celeste Ackelson, has resurfaced on Instagram and has instantly become a meme.

We don’t know if it’s this particular shot or something else, but there’s no Brian Baumgartner in this picture – we see Kevin and Stacy walking down the aisle.

The real-life couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in their own backyard back in 2014. Only family members and close friends were in attendance, including some of Baumgartner’s The Office co-stars. Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Oscar Nunez, and John Krasinski were all reportedly present at the wedding.

In 2015, Brian and Celeste welcomed their daughter, who they named Brylee Bea.

Since The Office ended, the actor has stayed pretty busy. He has appeared in a number of shows, including Criminal Minds, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Chicago Fire.

Baumgartner hasn’t shied away from acting and voice-acting in movies – his most recent works are 2021’s Rumble and 2020’s My Boyfriend’s Meds.

However, Brian hasn’t let go of his The Office roots either. In 2020, he hosted and executive produced An Oral History of The Office, a Spotify podcast. In 2021, the actor did another podcast for iHeart, The Office Deep Dive with Brian Baumgartner.

Hopefully, we’ll be hearing more from Brian soon. We wouldn’t say no to The Office revival, you know.
