Amazon Prime's most expensive series has just unveiled its first proper teaser, and fans are stunned by the amount of work done on the series.

JRR Tolkien's beloved fantasy world will once again be a great live-action spectacle, thanks to Amazon's half-billion-dollar commitment to the production of the series. 'The Rings of Power' will be set thousands of years before the events of Peter Jackson's original trilogy, and will feature new characters, races and locations for the first time. The world of 'The Lord of the Rings' is full of untold stories and interesting global events, so the upcoming show is sure to please in the lore department. But will it look amazing?

According to fans who have seen the recently released teaser, yes. After studying every second of the clip and discussing it on Reddit, fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief – it looks like Amazon Prime will succeed in bringing this beloved story to life.

"I laughed first time I saw a pic of dudes carrying big moose antlers but seeing them walking in the background in this trailer looked epic AF. This trailer did it, made me stop being overly concerned and actually getting excited." – /DrLeoMarvin.

Fans are stunned by the amount of practical effects used in the series, and yes, the CGI looks fantastic. After all, the streaming giant spends an insane amount of money on production, so it was expected to be nothing short of phenomenal.

"This is really blurring the ever closing line between TV and movie production. A lot of these shots are INSANE. There were a few scenes that looked a bit CGI heavy but then a lot were very practical too. I especially loved the shot of the riding of the horses and the bodies in the red as well as all the trees. And the music was fascinating!" – /frankyriver.

People are wondering why Amazon Prime didn't release this teaser sooner, since the material previously shown was disappointing, to say the least. The newest teaser, however, looks wildly different, indeed leaving LoTR fans baffled.
