The White Lotus S3 E5 Unexpectedly Created a New Hero & a New Loser For Us

The White Lotus is everybody’s favorite show for many reasons. Some of the fans enjoy the whodunnit part of the series and wait the whole season to see who was the killer and who died in the very beginning of it. Some enjoy the crazy romance stories that always end up more than you expect.

But what The White Lotus does best is portray different people going through change. The characters you meet in the beginning, at the end of the story are changed people, and that’s the character development worth following.

Mike White also does a perfect job when not really making a person go through a change, but to show its true colors in action. For example, there was almost no opinion of the hotel’s manager Fabian until the latest episode. And frankly, we’ve seen managers better in the universe of the show.

When Belinda approaches him with her concerns that Gary/Greg is a potentially dangerous man who could hurt her and probably even killed his wife, she says that she is worried because of his interest in her (Fabian told her himself that he was particularly curious about Belinda) and suggests that they call the police, Fabian does nothing to protect her. He just tries to get rid of her and says "I hope you survive".

Episode 5 also focused on the three friends, Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate, while they were out partying like crazy. And while Jaclyn and Laurie were having the time of their lives, Kate was the ultimate boring mom, skeptical of the boys and not ready to let go of her worries.

While some fans said she was a disappointment because she did not want to have a wild night, many of them actually agreed with her tactics and absolutely related to her character's behavior in the current situation.
