If you crave more folks from Supernatural to appear in the prequel, this is some good news.

It looks like The Winchesters finale does have a couple of surprises for fans, and cameos seem to be one of them. At least that's what the prequel's star Meg Donnelly, who portrays Mary Winchester, has teased.

"They're kind of keeping it as secret from us," Donnelly revealed to E! News. "However, I did hear that it's gonna be really epic. Lots of fights, lots of drama, and a lot of guests, apparently."

She then went on to add that she believes that the guests will be coming from the original show, Supernatural.

Even though the actress stopped short of confirming anything (or anyone), Donnelly's remarks might mean that Richard Speigh Jr., who is already officially confirmed to return in the prequel as Loki, can have some company.

Fans have speculated that it was possible that Castiel, an awkward angel portrayed by Misha Collins on Supernatural, could make a surprise appearance in the finale. This is possible if it turns out that Dean Winchester is, in fact, still in heaven, right where he ended up in Supernatural finale, and that's where his investigation into his family's past takes place.

The Winchesters Glaring Timeline Error Leaves SPN Fans Frustrated

However, the place of The Winchesters in the Supernatural universe is currently unclear. Jensen Ackles, who also serves as an executive producer, has insisted that The Winchesters will respect the canon. At the same time, it's been four episodes and no clarity on whether the show retcons the original storyline of the Winchester family that was established in Supernatural.

According to the original show, John only became a hunter after Mary died at the hands of Azazel. However, in The Winchesters, John immediately delves into the world of monster hunting after Mary introduces him to it following their accidental meeting near a cinema.

The Winchesters airs Tuesdays on The CW, with the first season to consist of 13 episodes. The next episode, Legend of a Mind, is set to air on November 15, with the episode 6, Art of Dying, to follow November 22.
