There is a Big MCU Cameo in 'I Am Groot' 'Magnum Opus' Episode
If you wanted someone from 'Guardians of the Galaxy' to appear in the Groot series… there you go.
The short series that follows the little adventures of young Groot, 'I Am Groot ', is largely focused on the wooden hero… but those who are patient enough to wait until the final episode might get a big surprise.
In episode 5, titled 'Magnum Opus', Rocket shows up himself, when Groot leaves various items in different places of the ship trying to draw the attention of the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, his little venture results in an explosion in one part of the ship.
Rocket discovers Groot trying to fix the hole in the ship with some duct tape. However, it is simply impossible for the raccoon to be mad for too long, as Groot hands him a lovely drawing.
Having received the gift, Rocket notes that Groot has grown up. He also adds that "we should frame" the painting.
Rocket's cameo was a pleasant surprise for fans, but the cute scene shared between the two has ultimately melted everyone's hearts. The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' fans know that Rocket is not someone who would frequently share his feelings or go into sunshine and rainbows mode.
However, the final short episode of 'I Am Groot' marked a wonderful exception. The series premiered on Disney Plus on Wednesday, with five more shorts being in development.
