Recently released trailer for Marvel’s latest Asgardian epic harbored tons of secrets, Easter eggs and comics references, but there is at least one many fans missed.

One scene in the 'Thor: Love and Thunder ' trailer shows the return of Thor Odinson and Korg to Sakaar, which played an important role in the previous chapter of Thor's adventures. On Sakaar, Jeff Goldblum 's Grandmaster ruled mercilessly in 'Thor: Ragnarok', running a gladiator competition, one of the winners of which, according to the original Marvel comics, was Beta Ray Bill himself.

Beta Ray Bill is a Korbonite warrior proved worthy of Thor's powers and wielding the Mjolnir. He is a beloved character, known for his strange appearance and unlimited power, who was once seen even replacing Thor himself. Perhaps, Asgardian superhero would finally meet his match in the upcoming film, fighting Beta Ray Bill for the title of Grandmaster's champion.

Another strong hint at Carbonite's involvement is the legendary Stormbreaker weapon, which can be seen in Thor's hands in the trailer. In the comics, Stormbreaker is owned by Beta Ray, so hot-headed warrior might try to reclaim what is rightfully his.

Fans are eager to see their favorite weirdo on the big screen, hoping he will finally be brought into the MCU.

'Thor: Love an Thunder' hits theatres on July 8, 2022.
