Sometimes a change is good.

Despite the fact that everyone loves CBS' popular and extraordinarily long-running investigative procedural drama called NCIS, one can only be loyal to something for so long. And when the characters you have loved and rooted for for so many years leave the show, it can be hard to adjust to a new reality.

But even if you're the most diehard NCIS fan and can't imagine giving up the show, there's still a chance that there's something else out there that you might like even more than a 19-season show. To find out, check out these 5 shows that give off similar vibes.

1. Scorpion (2014-2018)

Well, there were a lot of different opinions about this show, but one thing is clear: it doesn’t matter how perfectly logical or complicated the storylines were, the audience still enjoyed the amazing characters doing their thing together.

The series is about a team of some kind of geniuses who have a very high profile mission on their hands: they are now the last line of defense against the many threats to national security. The one who created the team, Walter, has to face just too many complicated attacks at once, and we are there to witness them fighting them all.

“I loved it. It was absolutely ludacris and made no logical sense, but the characters were great and it was fun to watch. I HATED how they ended it, though,” Redditor mindoversoul said.

2. SWAT (2017)

Solving crimes in Los Angeles isn’t easy, and these guys know it. The series follows a local S.W.A.T. sergeant and his team of super-trained people who are the ones that the city has all hopes on.

The dedicated men and women of the team put their lives to save the people they are responsible for, but at the same time try to put up with their personal lives. And it’s not that easy…

3. Criminal Minds ( 2005)

Who doesn’t like a good-old FBI show? Especially the one that is considered to be one of the best in the genre.

On air since 2005, this show focuses on a group of FBI agents who are fighting the criminal world. Our main characters are the members of a special unit that uses mainly behavioral analysis to investigate the crimes and find the one responsible for it.

As it comes naturally, mostly all of them have brilliant career potential, but struggle to be happy people in their lives outside of crimes and work.

4. Bones (2005-2017)

One of the many things people love about NCIS is of course the ensemble cast of the show. There are countless agents, doctors of different sorts, forensics experts and the list goes on. So if you want another show with the same thing going on — try Bones.

At the center of the story is a rather brilliant, but socially awkward anthropologist, Dr. Temperance Brennan, who finds herself on a team with a cocky FBI special Agent Seeley Booth. Together they have to investigate rather unusual crime cases: usually, the ones where the only thing left of the victims are… bones.

5. Line of Duty (2012-2021)

This British crime drama is your must watch if everything else seems to be not your type of thing. Line of Duty, running for 10 years already, centers on anti-corruption department officers who made it their life mission to fight their shady and greedy colleagues.

This addictive drama will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat! So don’t miss it.
