If you expected some huge and jaw-dropping revelations, then it's probably not something you hoped for.

Marvel's post-credit scenes are already a separate genre, and some people are more excited about them than about the actual movie. Traditionally, Marvel would tease a new project or introduce a new superhero. However, that's not how things are with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

According to the early social media reviews, the movie only has one mid-credit scene, and it's not particularly a plot-twist but rather a sweet tribute. The scene shows Shuri meeting T'Challa's son — and those who have already seen it say that it is a heart-wrenching homage to late Chadwick Boseman.

Wakanda Forever Leak Confirms What Fans Suspected All Along

However, those who waited for more surprises being in store were left disappointed. After all, Wakanda Forever concludes Phase Four of the MCU, so people were expecting something huge. Particularly, many fans were hoping to see Doctor Doom, but early reviews indicate there is no sight or even mention of him in Wakanda Forever.

While some people were frustrated with it, others begged to differ.

"I'm fine with a sweet credit scene that's more of a specific tie-in to the rest of the movie. I understand why they probably don't want Doom overshadowing the movie," Redditor Rman823 said.

Some fans, however, are confident that the premiere might have cut some scenes in order to keep people intrigued.

"Have they ever withheld credit scenes from premiers and shown them on opening night? Not expecting Doom but wondering if there could be something else," Redditor bobbydoe77 argued.

With or without the additional post-credit scenes, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
