The mystery-comedy show has welcomed a Marvel star to its cast.

The 'Ant-Man' titular star Paul Rudd has joined the cast of 'Only Murders in the Building ' after appearing in a cameo in the season 2 finale.

In season 3, Rudd is going to portray the same character, Broadway star Ben Glenroy, even though it is unclear whether he will be a regular or just a guest star. But here's what is known about his character, according to the series co-creator John Hoffman.

"Paul Rudd, after making an auspicious entrance into the world of our show at the end of Season 2 as Ben Glenroy, is someone we clearly want to know more about and see in our upcoming Season 3 — as he is a clear source of many upcoming questions and, as ever with our show, many twists yet to come!" Hoffman told Variety.

If you're unaware of the 'Only Murders in the Building' drama, the show revolves around one building (predictably) where three unlikely friends bonding over their love for crime-solving. Luckily for them, there are more than enough crimes to solve.

Now that Paul Rudd has officially joined the cast, he will mark yet another work with the show's main star Selena Gomez. The two have already worked together in 'The Fundamentals of Caring' in 2016.

The second season, in which Rudd has already appeared, was focused on the mystery of the murder of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger. In July, the show was greenlit for season 3, but the plot details and the premiere date are yet to be unveiled.

Rudd is also slated for an upcoming return to big screens as Ant-Man in the 2023 sequel 'Quantumania'.
