Wild Fan Theory Claims Game of Thrones Is Just Medieval Westworld, Lowkey Makes Sense
What the title says: Game of Thrones is a large theme park. This theory is just as insane as it is believable when you really get into it, so let’s do it together.
Game of Thrones and Westworld are two phenomenally successful shows by HBO but they are clearly set in very different worlds…or are they? According to one Reddit user, there’s a chance that the entire Game of Thrones series shows the events that took place in yet another theme park — the one we saw being built!
In Season 3 of Westworld, the Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have a cameo appearance that sees them building a Host dragon that looks exactly like GoT’s Drogon. That, combined with Westworld’s Maze symbol looking just like the spiral pattern used by the White Walkers, got one user thinking.
In Westworld, we saw multiple theme parks, and we most definitely saw Game of Thrones park being created, too. So what if — for fun’s sake — we assume that everything we saw in Game of Thrones was nothing other than a simulation? What if borderline all the characters were nothing but Hosts executing their subplots?
This raises an immediate question: well, who was this park running for, then? And the answer this theory provides made us convinced right off the bat. It’s so true!
Bronn. Bronn was the Guest of the Game of Thrones theme park.
Think about it: Bronn appeared out of thin air just like Guests do. He had no connections, no family, and no actual backstory. Despite being a lowly sellsword, he immediately became vital to the plot and was actively participating or directing numerous major events throughout all eight seasons… But that’s not everything.
Bronn was the one person who was actually having fun!

While the stakes were immensely high for everyone involved, Bronn was never stressed: the entire ordeal was genuinely fun for him. Bronn was dancing through the plot, winning every battle with barely a scratch, reaping insane awards, and becoming the Lord with a seat on the King's Small Council. How did he do all that?
As we know, Hosts are not allowed to hurt Guests, and this makes sense: no one could seriously harm Bronn throughout the entire series. This man played Game of Thrones like it was Skyrim, following Tyrion’s quest line and speedrunning the road from rags to riches. He got away with so much because he had a special status.
