Now that we got a glimpse of the MCU Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Charlie Cox spills some tea about what to expect from his character in the future.

The news of Daredevil being reintroduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his own solo show has made waves among Marvel fans. However, it also made people fear that Disney is going to turn the usually grim character into someone goofy and light-hearted, especially compared to the Netflix show.

Another concern was that Disney was going to retcon the Netflix show — something that many people vehemently object to, instead rooting for Daredevil: Born Again to continue the already established story. Charlie Cox, who portrays Matt Murdock, has weighed in on the prospects of that — and it turns out that the fears are not that baseless.

"In a way, what's great about that is that we potentially get to tell some of the stories over and over again in the same way that they do in the comics, you know. Every now and again, they start back at the beginning of Murdock's journey as a little boy and they tell the whole origin story again. So maybe we'll get to do that, I don't know," Cox told Entertainment Tonight.

Even though the actor plays coy as to whether he knows some secrets, it looks like it's possible that Disney will redo some parts of the Daredevil story. And this is something that makes fans worried — even though they are ready to give Marvel a chance simply for bringing Daredevil back.

"I really hope they can keep it faithful to the Netflix Series. Netflix Daredevil is peak fiction, and if Kevin Feige or Disney mess this up, idk man idk," Twitter fan MovieLoverAlwa1 suggested.

Some people think that a lot of change is coming even though the creators are vowing to stay faithful to the canon.

"I think a lot of people are misunderstanding that "he's very much the same daredevil you know and love" quote. I don't think they ever meant he's literally the same version of the character, just that Charlie Cox plays him just as well here as he did before." – @Halfheart_hero

Others, on the contrary, think there is nothing to worry about.

"This is such a non issue. I'm sure it means "hey this happened, if you want to know more go watch the old show, but be warned that you may or may not have to watch Luke Cage and Iron Fist for Defenders" – @GJernimo1

Daredevil: Born Again is set to hit Disney Plus in early 2024, with the exact premiere date to be scheduled later.
