Rebecca Ferguson has starred in high-profile blockbusters over the past decade and is finally getting the recognition she deserves. She lives on a farm near London with her husband and two children, leaving home only to star in the next hit.

Although the actress has starred in such big projects as the Mission: Impossible franchise and Dune, her fame is recent – the big break in her career came when she starred as Elizabeth Woodville in The White Queen.

The show itself wasn't an instant hit with audiences, but Rebecca was thrilled – her dream of starring in a British drama and a period series had come true. The actress was cast at the very first audition, and it all happened so fast that even she did not understand how she had become the "queen."

And it was in that series that Tom Cruise noticed the actress and invited her to play Ilsa Faust.

Ferguson Had a Tough Conflict with A-List Co-Star

When we watch movies, it's easy to forget that everything that happens on the screen is an act. Actors and actresses transform themselves into completely different people to tell a story and portray feelings and emotions that they are not experiencing.

Most of the time, the movie partners sympathize with each other, but there are also situations where the actors have no trace of mutual sympathy. The reasons may be very different, but the result is the same – behind-the-scenes conflicts between the co-stars, which we are not even aware of. Well, at least up to some point.

In a recent interview, Ferguson opened up about the behind-the-scenes life of an actress and shared details about filming a movie in which she was yelled at by an A-list co-star.

Rebecca stated that she didn't anticipate she would have to defend herself on set and that she felt vulnerable at the time. She claims that the unnamed colleague was furious that they were unable to get the scenes out and that they ultimately chose to vent their frustrations on the actress.

The co-star's screams were too much for Rebecca, and she cried as she left the set. Then, the person addressed her in front of the entire film crew, saying: "You call yourself an actor? This is what I have to work with?"

Ferguson adds that nobody was even able to defend her, as the colleague in question was practically untouchable as they were the biggest star of the project.

She made the decision to handle it alone and stand her ground for the first time, and when she returned to the set, the actress said:

"You can F off. [...] I never want to see you again."

The conflict ended with Rebecca forcing the co-star to turn around so she could act to the back of their head.
