10. 'Body Cam', 2020

Policewoman Renee is back on the job after an eight-month suspension. During her last arrest, she had a hard time holding back after witnessing the death of a child in a neighbor's pool.

She is assigned a rookie partner as an additional responsibility. On their first patrol on the outskirts of Los Angeles, they find the body of Renee's former partner, Kevin, who is crucified on a gate with a disfigured face. The murder clearly has a mystical nature.

9. 'Hold the Dark', 2018

In a small Alaskan village, a child goes missing. The mother realizes the child is most likely already dead but still hires a naturalist hunter to track down a pack of wolves that often steal unattended children – she wants to take revenge. Her anger quickly turns to shock when she notices that streams are continuing from her hacked account. It turns out that a girl who looks exactly like Alice is behind it.

7. 'The Perfection', 2018

A former teacher gives Charlotte a chance and agrees to take her on a big tour of China. There, she plans to eliminate her competitor and become the star of the academy again.

An aspiring duo of criminals rob a gas station and break into a peaceful-looking house on a country road. They find a girl chained in the basement and soon the owners return – a couple of smiling, middle-aged psychopaths.

Initially, Villains appears to be heading in the direction of a thriller similar to Don't Breathe, but it leans more toward a black comedy about love.
