10-Minute No-Bake Treat: The Easiest Chocolate Cookie Cake Ever
This will be the best chocolate cookie soaked in fluffy cream you’ll ever try.
When you’re booked and busy with work tasks and house chores, it’s hard to dedicate a whole hour to baking some kind of dessert. Luckily, some have already come up with numerous solutions that turned out to be some of the best dessert recipes that literally save someone else’s dinner party.
The recipe for this easy chocolate cake isn’t an exception, since it doesn’t require more than 10 minutes of active cooking and won’t force you to look for some exotic ingredients.
Here’s what you need: 500 g of cream cheese, 500 g of 33% cream, 3 tbsp of powdered sugar, chocolate cookies (to your liking), 200 g of milk chocolate, 50 ml of vegetable oil.
Whip the cream until stiff, add the cream cheese and powdered sugar, and gently fold until smooth. Line the bottom of the pan with a layer of chocolate cookies, spread some of the cream on top, then add another layer of cookies; continue building the cake in layers.
Melt the milk chocolate with vegetable oil until smooth and pour over the top. Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours so the cake is well soaked and becomes extra tender.
You can decorate the top of the cake with berries or shredded coconut. Spread them on top while the chocolate is still soft.
