2023 has been a strong year for Netflix: the platform's Top 10 most-viewed shows have been watched for almost 5 billion minutes in the first half of the year alone!

10. FUBAR S1 (2023) — 266.2M Minutes

FUBAR is the classic: who doesn't love a retired superspy who's called back for just “one last job”? Better yet, if that superspy is none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger himself. This action comedy found its way to fans' hearts, though critics went rather harsh on it. Still, FUBAR Season 1 was streamed for 266.M minutes in January–June 2023.

9. Ginny & Georgia S1 (2021) — 302.1M Minutes

Comedy dramas about dysfunctional families will always have a special place in our hearts, and Ginny & Georgia is no exception. This TV show follows a dynamic duo of a careless mother and her teenage daughter who often feels more mature than her supposed caretaker. Though dating back to 2021, Season 1 was streamed for 302.1M minutes in the first half of this year.

8. Outer Banks S3 (2023) — 402.5M Minutes

Tropical islands and treasure hunts are fun on their own, but a treasure hunt on a tropical island is a dream come true — especially, if you bring your best buddies along. Not everything is fun and games, though, since the treasure is connected to the main character's father's disappearance. Sounds sad, but Outer Banks S3 was streamed for 402.5M minutes in January–July 2023, anyway.

7. La Reina del Sur S3 (2022) — 429.6M Minutes

There's no point in recapping the previous seasons: La Reina del Sur S3 brings us right back into the action four years later. Having served her sentence (to some extent, that is), the main character has to clear her name and reunite with her daughter, and she has strong support: viewers watched 429.6M minutes of her adventures in the first half of 2023.

6. You S4 (2023) — 440.6M Minutes

The audience just can't get enough of its charming and gravely dangerous sociopaths as You returned this year to follow Joe's murder-fueled obsession with beautiful women once again. Say what you will about him, but fans love Joe: in January–June 2023 alone, his dangerous activities in Season 4 were watched for over 440.6M minutes.

5. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023) — 503M Minutes

Now, we move on to the real heavy lifters. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story opens the second half of our list with shows that were streamed for over half a billion minutes in January–June 2023. The classic tale of a young lady betrothed with a monarch against her will still captivated the audience as Queen Charlotte was streamed for 503M minutes.

4. Wednesday S1 (2022) — 507.7M Minutes

The first and only (for now) season of Wednesday is still just as popular as last year when it came out. Waiting for Jenna Ortega to build upon her iconic character's dangerous and fantastic journey with the next series, fans of the show rewatched Wednesday Season 1 over and over again, bumping the viewership in the first half of 2023 up to 507.7M minutes.

3. The Glory S1 (2022) — 622.8M Minutes

It's not just fantasy and romance that interest Netflix viewers, though. The Glory follows a former victim of violence as she sets up an elaborate and cruel plan of revenge for her school bullies using their families as a tool. The first season was streamed for 622.8M minutes in the first half of this year, marking the audience's interest in drama and revenge.

2. Ginny & Georgia S2 (2023) — 665.1M Minutes

The family drama of Ginny and Georgia didn't let go of the show's fans as the series booked another spot in the Top 10 list. The second season was released this year and it piqued the audience's interest immediately, becoming the second most-viewed TV show of January–June 2023 with 665.1M minutes streamed in total. Ginny & Georgia is still going strong!

1. The Night Agent S1 (2023) — 812.1M Minutes

Superspies are one thing, but a low-ranking FBI guy with no access to secret information who gets dragged into a vast and dangerous conspiracy? That's pretty fresh. Peter Sutherland's struggles to save the USA and find the mole in the government raked up an overwhelming 812.1M minutes of watch time in the first half of 2023 alone, making this show the biggest hit.
