You would never find two shows with the same concept in this genre.

A good dystopian show gives you the strong feeling that anything is possible in our world, even if the fictional reality on the screen scares you enough to hope that it will never be the one you live in.

All of the dystopian series about what our future might look like show us different, but mostly frightening, images. So, if you're ready to see something a little extra, check out these ten TV shows that we think will have an impact on you.

1. The 100

The 100 is probably one of the best shows that handles moral dilemmas, however in a totally new reality of a post-apocalyptic world. The thing is, the story of the show focuses on the fact that the Earth is not appropriate for humans living there for almost a century.

However, in an experiment where 100 underage criminals were brought back there for an experiment, we found out that it's actually possible, though too difficult. The experiment is terrifying because any decision they make could cost them their lives.

2. Black Mirror

One of the most popular dystopian TV shows that everyone has probably heard of, even if they haven't watched it. Each episode of Black Mirror tells its own story about how media, technology and AI are changing our everyday lives, and what the consequences could be if things don't go according to plan (is there any plan, by the way?).

While some of the episodes are easy to deal with, the majority still leave you with that horrible aftertaste of "What if something like this happens? What would I do?" And not having an answer scares you to death.

3. The Society

The 2019 Netflix series tells the story of a bunch of small-town teenagers, who accidentally fell into a parallel world. What’s interesting is the fact that there are no adults in this world and the kids themselves should decide how to use the power given to them to survive on a new land.

The series tackles serious issues of overwhelming power and how dangerous it can be. The show's setting gives the best example of human nature struggling in a new reality.
