While no one really wants to see the world taken over by various superheroes, and we've already seen what that scenario can lead to with The Boys, it would be nice to know that there is a place for something supernatural in our bleak world.

Whether it be super strength, some sort of psychic powers, or the ability to fly – the possibilities are endless.

One K-drama that has perfectly captured every cool aspect of superhero life, as well as every danger that would follow, is Moving. Released in 2023, it swept away all fans of the genre and left people wanting more.

Although Do Bong-soon is extremely strong, she never wanted to have such power. Dreaming of being small and delicate like every other girl around her, she becomes a bodyguard for the CEO of the game company. When a series of kidnappings occurs in the area, Do Bong-soon tries to protect those close to her and begins to investigate.

A Girl Who Sees Smells (2015)

If you're interested in an unusual superpower concept, this drama is exactly what you're looking for. After the traumatic events Detective Choi Moo-gak and Oh Cho-rim suffer from completely different circumstances, as he loses the ability to smell and taste, and she finds herself able to trace patterns and tell where people have been based on their scents.

I Hear Your Voice (2013)

After witnessing the death of his father, Park Soo-ha gets the supernatural power to read people's minds by looking into their eyes. At the hearing of his father's case he falls in love with the lawyer Jang Hye-sung, but when he meets her a decade later he realizes that time has made the once passionate woman cold and pragmatic.

The Moorim Institute is not your usual place of learning. Instead of teaching academic courses to its students of diverse backgrounds, it focuses on physical skills. She can see people's pasts through a simple touch, but there's a twist: the touch has to be done with the person's butt for it to work.

Remember (2015)

Seo Jin-woo has a special condition called hyperthymesia, as a result of which he has a perfect memory of almost every day of his life. When his father who’s suffering from Alzheimer's disease is wrongly convicted of murder, Jin-woo vows to prove his father's innocence. He becomes a lawyer to put real criminals in jail.

The Uncanny Counter (2020-2023)

The show follows the team of demon hunters, also known as the Counters. Once they were all in a coma, but got a second chance to live with superpowered bodies and a newfound mission to find and eliminate the demons who possess people and turn them into murderers to gain more innocent souls.

The Game: Towards Zero (2020)

Being able to see when someone is going to die must be one of the most terrifying supernatural powers there is. And that's exactly what Tae-Pyeong has, as he can tell the exact moment of someone's death just by looking into their eyes. However, everything changes when he meets the detective whose eyes he can't read.
