Original K-Drama: She Was Pretty, 2015

She Was Pretty tells the story of the relationship between two long-time friends who have been in love since childhood. Yigit and Deniz were born into rich families, but fate was merciless. In her adult life, Deniz is constantly haunted by failures. She divorces her husband, works as a simple waitress, and soon gets fired.

She sends out her resume and unexpectedly receives a reply from her long-time friend, Yigit. But when he sees Deniz, he does not recognize her because the difficulties of life have left their mark on her appearance.

Eylul has to change schools all the time because of problems with her teachers. The woman sends her to a school in one of the neighboring towns, where Ali Asaf, a talented doctor from Istanbul, works.

Ali learns of Eylul's desire to become a doctor and helps her in any way he can. A few years later, Eylul and Ali meet again in one of Istanbul's best clinics.

3. Relationship Status: It’s Complicated, 2015-2016

Original K-Drama: Full House, 2004

Aysegul is a young writer. Friends trick her into going on vacation, where she meets the famous actor Can Tekin, and they immediately dislike each other. Upon her return, Aysegul discovers that her house has been sold by her “friends.”

With no other choice, she decides to go to her old house and ask the new owner to let her stay there. It turns out that the new owner of the house is Can Tekin.

4. High Society, 2016

High Society tells the story of two very different people who come from different social classes and hide their true colors at the same time. Kerem grew up in a poor family, but tries his best to be successful.

One day he is offered to manage a store for a month. If he succeeds, he can start his own business. One day, Cansu comes to the store to apply for a sales position. She hides the fact that she is the daughter of wealthy parents and grew up in luxury.

5. A Miracle, 2019-2021

Original K-Drama: Good Doctor, 2013

A gifted doctor, Ali has had a difficult journey in medicine and life. Many years ago, his father sent him to an orphanage and he grew up away from his loved ones. He entered medical school, got a job as an assistant surgeon, and gradually proved to the management of a prestigious clinic that he could perform operations independently.

Despite his extensive professional knowledge, Ali often experiences difficulties in everyday interactions with people. Based on the original Korean series, there was also an American remake that gained wide popularity – The Good Doctor starring Freddie Highmore.

6. Meryem, 2017-2018

Original K-Drama: Secret Love, 2013

Meryem and Oktay were going to get married, but unexpected circumstances interfere with the lovers' relationship. Oktay is a young prosecutor with a bright future ahead of him, but he hits a woman with his car and runs away from the crime scene when she dies. Now his career, his whole life, could go downhill. Meryem, madly in love with Oktay, takes responsibility for this accident.

After serving her time, Meryem returns to freedom, but now everyone calls her a murderer, and there is someone who wants to avenge the murdered woman.

7. Don’t Let Go of My Hand, 2018-2019

Original K-Drama: Shining Inheritance, 2009

Azra and Cenk are the children of wealthy Turkish families. They attend the same American university, but have never met. Azra dreams of becoming a pastry chef and opening her own business. Cenk wants to inherit his parents' empire.

They return to Istanbul for the holiday. First, Azra and Cenk have a fight on the plane, and at the airport it turns out that their luggage has been mixed up. They might not have seen each other again had it not been for Cenk’s grandmother, who arranged for them to meet again.

8. Love, Reason, Get Even, 2021-2022

Original K-Drama: Cunning Single Lady, 2014

Mother keeps telling Esra to marry for convenience, not love, and to choose a rich husband. Tired of her mother's advice, Esra agrees to marry Ozan, a promising young man, without thinking twice. But family life does not work out, and Esra leaves him.

And then, a few years later, fate brings them together again – without even knowing, Esra starts working in his company. It turns out that over the years Ozan has become one of the richest people in the country, having founded his own company. When she sees him, she vows to win back the love of her ex-husband.

9. Broken Pieces, 2014-2017

Original K-Drama: Autumn in My Heart, 2000

Gulseren has a stable life and career in Istanbul. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Cihan, a successful owner of high-end restaurants.

They immediately feel attracted to each other, but there are obstacles on the couple's path to happiness – enemies, envious people, treacherous friends and other trials that will challenge their love and loyalty to each other.

10. Life Song, 2016-2017

Original K-Drama: Flames of Desire, 2010-2011

Salih and Bayram are friends from the same village who had a big fight a long time ago.
The former stayed in the village, the latter went to the city and became rich. To improve their relationship, they decide to become relatives: when their children grow up, they will marry Bayram’s son Kerim to Salih's daughter, Melek.
