The best dessert option when you don’t have time nor desire to bake something difficult.

If you’re working 9 to 5, it’s likely you don’t even have a thought of preparing some kind of cake as soon as you arrive home. However, craving for something sweet is also a normal thing, so you usually opt for a dessert they make in a local bakery.

Well, what if you could make the most delicious (and low-calorie) banana sweet treat yourself in just minutes? These lazy banana bites are a solid proof that making something tasty doesn’t necessarily take a lot of time — just prepare all the essential ingredients.

Here’s what you need: 1 large banana, 100 g of cottage cheese, 5 large grapes, 2 tablespoons of raisins, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of buckwheat flour, a pinch of baking powder, a small pinch of vanilla extract.

In a blender, mix the cottage cheese with the grapes (after removing the seeds), raisins, and egg white. Add the flour, vanilla extract, and baking powder, then mix well. The mixture should be thick and slightly sticky to the touch.

Peel the banana and slice it into rounds about a centimeter thick. Take a banana slice, gently press it in your fist — but not too hard — as if rounding it out.

Take a small amount of the curd mixture, wrap the banana slice in it, and roll it into a ball. Repeat this with all the slices and the curd mixture.

Place the banana-filled balls in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15 minutes. After this time, brush them on all sides with egg yolk and return them to the oven for another 5–7 minutes.
