15 Years Later, Iconic Harry Potter Stars Recreated Their Notorious Scene

It’s been decades since the books (and later, movies) first saw the light of the day, but the fan community has only been growing since then. Fortunately, most Harry Potter movie stars love their franchise just as much — and are happy to join fans at various conventions and events all over the world for some quality time together!
That’s exactly what happened at the recent Enter The Wizard World con in Paris where two former on-screen sweethearts cherished their old feelings once again.
Rupert Grint and Jessie Cave Delighted Fans
The Enter The Wizard World convention in Paris, France, took place on March 23-24, 2024, and as it often goes, it had some invited stars. This time around, Rupert Grint and Jessie Cave, the Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown actors, respectively, made their way to the event. And they were looking great together, believe it or not!

The actors recreated one of their most notorious scenes from the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie: there, Jessie Cave’s Lavender gifts Rupert Grint’s Ron (or should we say, Won-Won?) a special love necklace that literally consists of the word “love” written over and over. The actors notably look like they haven’t aged much, especially Jessie, and that makes this video even more heartwarming!
Lavender and Ron Didn’t Have the Happiest Story
In the movie, Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown were each other’s first romantic partners. Completely enamored with each other at first, they soon started having issues: while the girl was still in love, Ron started finding her never-ending attention annoying. The two broke up a few months into their relationship and were not on the best terms after that.
Fortunately, Rupert Grint and Jessie Cave themselves had no bad blood between them, as they proved at the recent convention. Don’t know about you, but we were delighted to watch the guys get together again and rekindle their on-screen alter-egos’ “true love” once more — for the camera, just like the first time.
