Over the course of six seasons of Sex and the City, Carrie has had many boyfriends, but these deserved a second chance more than the rest.

Aidan's return clearly didn't benefit And Just Like That – the show's ratings are the best proof of that. I decided to recall Carrie's best ex-boyfriends from Sex and the City who deserved a comeback more than Aidan.

1. Sean

Appeared In: Season 3 Episode 4 – "Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl..."

In Sex and the City, Carrie often dated younger men, but the best was Sean, who took her to the skating rink and was an excellent kisser.

Carrie broke up with Sean because of his sexual freedom. At that point, the writers decided to portray the main character as somewhat conservative.

The episode aged rather poorly, so the return of Sean would be the perfect chance to ride the trend of age-gap romances and rehabilitate the questionable decisions of the scriptwriters.

2. Jeremy

Appeared In: Season 6 Episode 10 – "Boy, Interrupted"

Jeremy had the potential for a compelling cameo in And Just Like That. David Duchovny, star of the 90s hit The X-Files, played Carrie's high school boyfriend. They would make out in the backseat of a car and at home on weekends when Jeremy's mom was away.

A reunion as adults was thwarted by Jeremy's decision to focus on his mental health. The relationship hiatus was supposed to last a year, and Carrie gave up on the idea of reuniting with her first love.

Having such a star actor like David Duchovny would definitely boost And Just Like That's ratings.

3. Dr. Bradley Meego

Appeared In: Season 2 Episode 17 – "Twenty-Something Girls vs. Thirty-Something Women"

You might not remember Dr. Bradley Meego, but he definitely deserves a second chance. The smiling and well-mannered doctor suffered the sad fate of being forgotten after strolling along the Hamptons beach and having a couple of cocktails.

In the Season 2 finale, Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte escape the city for a weekend at the beach, but their getaway is marred by an unexpected encounter with Mr. Big and his new girlfriend, Natasha.

Carrie meets the doctor in the city, and they meet again on the shoreline. Perhaps another encounter with a nice man in And Just Like That could have improved Carrie's mental state.

4. Ben

Appeared In: Season 2 Episode 3 – "The Freak Show"

In the episode "Freak Show," the first meeting of Ben and Carrie took place in the tradition of 90s rom-coms. Carrie meets the man at the fountain in Central Park and they discuss how dangerous the dating world has become.

After the emotional ups and downs with Mr. Big, it seems that a period of a steady relationship is about to begin.

However, when Carrie finds herself alone in her new boyfriend's apartment, she searches for information on him, and turns out to be that very freak they talked about.

Maybe Carrie could rehabilitate herself in front of a really good guy years later, after accepting all her quirks.
