One of Netflix 's new hits is Apple Cider Vinegar, a series about blogger Belle Gibson, a woman who gained popularity by lying about beating a brain tumor with the right diet.

We've rounded up five other series about con artists that will keep you hooked until the very end.

1. Inventing Anna, 2022

Journalist Vivian stumbles upon an unusual court case: a certain Anna Delvey, also known as Anna Sorokin, is accused of unprecedented fraud.

For several years, the defendant emptied the wallets of rich people and lived in luxury. Anna's victims include an investment firm and a bank. Vivian tries to meet with Sorokin/Delvey and tries to understand what really happened.

The Netflix series is based on the true story of a woman who called herself Anna Delvey and fooled rich people from 2013 to 2017. The world learned about the shocking details of the scam in 2018, when New York Magazine published an article by journalist Jessica Pressler.

2. Generation Hustle, 2021

Generation Hustle is a 10-episode docu-series about the many different ways people get recognition, money and power through fraud.

The series also features an episode dedicated to Anna Delvey, which focuses on her ex-friend, Rachel. Sorokin scammed her friend and spent $62,000 on her work credit card while they vacationed together in Morocco, which she never paid back.

Viewers will also be introduced to the stories of rapper-turned-con artist Teejayx6, self-proclaimed Google alum Kyle Sandler and the fake Saudi royal family.

3. The Dropout, 2022

Elizabeth has always dreamed of changing the world and joining the ranks of visionaries like Steve Jobs. One day, she gets her chance. The woman has an idea for a device that looks like an iPod but works like a glucometer.

According to Eizabeth, the device will allow anyone to perform a blood test and receive a reliable result in a matter of seconds. But bringing the idea to life is not so easy, so she deliberately deceives investors at a meeting.

The trial of the real Elizabeth Holmes began in 2018, and the verdict was announced in the fall of 2022 – the entrepreneur was sent to prison for 11 years.

4. Dirty John, 2018-2020

An anthology series based on the true crime podcast of the same name by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Christopher Goffart. The show consists of two seasons, each telling a different story.

In the first season, the main character, Debra, is a successful, wealthy, divorced woman. She decides to sign up for a dating app and meets John Meehan, an anesthesiologist.

An attractive, smart, caring man, he wins Debra's heart within the first few minutes. Their romance develops quickly, Debra is in love, but her daughters are suspicious of their mother's chosen one.

5. The Tinder Swindler, 2022

The Tinder Swindler was released on Netflix and follows the stories of several women who were scammed by the same man on Tinder. The man used many aliases, but was eventually revealed to be Shimon Hayut. He posed as the son of a wealthy tycoon, a secret agent and a pilot.

While in character, Hayut would ask women for money under the pretense of an imminent threat to his life, ultimately scamming his victims out of more than $10 million.
