As the streamer continues its noble tradition to help the users enjoy some beloved old films that are being added every so often, there’s a bunch of long-awaited new arrivals that Netflix will see on its platform starting from tomorrow.
Just as always, the streamer will once again have a lot to offer to its fans, and you might want to add some movie pieces to your watchlist after checking out what’s about to land on Netflix.
Plankton: The Movie
Coming as a second spinoff for the SpongeBob SquarePants beloved franchise, Plankton: The Movie will now primarily follow its titular character coming up with even more evil plans than just stealing the recipe for The Krabby Patty.
Now Plankton is set to embark on an even more ambitious mission to dominate the whole world when the issue emerges from where it was least expected — Plankton’s computer wife Karen resents the former’s attitude and decides there’s no better option for revenge than becoming a dominant of the whole world herself.
Plankton: The Movie will arrive on Netflix on March 7.
CHAOS: The Manson Murders
Based on Tom O'Neill and Dan Piepenbring’s 2018 book titled CHAOS: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties, the upcoming documentary will trace the path of Charles Manson becoming one of the most notorious criminals due to his gang’s gruesome deeds.
Helmed by Oscar-winning director Errol Morris, CHAOS will also delve into the matter of numerous conspiracy theories surrounding Manson and his crimes, which at some point suggested his commune’s criminal activity might have been linked to secret government agencies.
CHAOS: The Manson Murders will be on Netflix on March 7.
The Electric State
Directed by Marvel’s longtime darlings Anthony and Joe Russo, The Electric State stars Millie Bobby Brown as Michelle, living in an alternate version of 1997 after losing her parents and desperately trying to find her long-lost brother in the world ruined by technologies.
As her journey goes further, she meets eccentric drifter Keats who she unwillingly joins her forces with; now both determined to find out what happened to Michelle’s brother, the characters will have to go through a prohibited zone where they will realise something really bad might have happened to Michelle’s sibling after all.
The Electric State will arrive on Netflix on March 14.
Revelations
Helmed by Train to Busan’s acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho, Revelations is based on Sang-ho and Choi Gyu-seok’s graphic novel of the same name (the latter also co-directs) which follows a pastor and a detective torn by their contradicting beliefs.
The story primarily revolves around the same criminal case, with the pastor determined to insist on a tough punishment for the culprit, while the assigned detective struggles to keep up with the investigation, haunted by memories of her dead sister.
The movie is currently set to be released on Netflix on March 21.
The Life List
Making another epic return to Netflix after her hit movie Carry-On, Sofia Carson stars in a new charming romantic comedy that sees the actress’ Alex trying to cope with her mother’s sudden death.
Swirled by the emotions, Alex finds a list of things she was eager to do as a teenager, but then just forgot about. The surprising finding then gains an even bigger importance when Alex finds out about a video her mother recorded, where she convinces her daughter to pursue the long-forgotten dreams.
The Life List will land on Netflix on March 28.
