5 Best Ongoing Shows to Stream on Paramount+ Right Now

Paramount+ definitely has a lot to offer, even though it is one of the relatively new services on the streaming scene.
There are several streaming giants that always try to pull the rug out from under everyone, such as Netflix or AppleTV+. But Paramount+ also has a library worth diving into. The platform was created after CBS All Access and Viacom merged in 2019, and since then, Paramount+ has become a great option for viewers of all tastes.
So if you are looking for something to watch next, try these 5 series on the streaming platform.
1. Matlock (2024-)
One of CBS' newest series that has become an instant hit is this legal drama starring Kathy Bates as the main character known to many as Matty Matlock. She plays an older woman who returns to work at a large law firm, but what no one knows is that she has a personal agenda.
The first episode is a perfect example of how a show should grab your attention with everything that's happening on screen. Halfway through the episode we thought we understood the main mystery of the show, but it is not until the end that we find out the truth.
Each episode of Matlock is a perfect combination of legal battles, personal dilemmas and little steps toward unraveling the dark secret that brought Matty to Jacobson-Moore.
2. Elsbeth ( 2024-)
Another show that has all the chances to become your new favorite is Elsbeth, but only if you are a fan of perfectly crafted mystery procedural comedy dramas with quirky main characters.
Created by Robert King and Michelle King, Elsbeth stars Carrie Preston in the titular role of Elsbeth Tascioni, a former offbeat lawyer turned NYPD consultant. Each new episode follows a murder that Elsbeth and her team investigate with the utmost dedication. Absolutely delightful viewing, a must-see for everyone.
There are two seasons of the show so far, with a third already greenlit.
3. Ghosts (2021-)
The Rotten Tomatoes score for this one is 97%, so that should be enough to get you to tune in. But if you want to learn more, you should know that Ghosts is one of CBS' most popular current comedies. The show follows a young couple, Sam and Jay, who inherit an old mansion that comes with a big surprise.
One day after a near-fatal fall, Sam wakes up to find that she can now see and talk to the ghosts that live in the house. They are funny and quirky, but they are still ghosts that haunt the mansion. So from that moment the adventures begin.
Despite the fact that the series is a remake of an iconic British show of the same name, the American version also managed to become a fan favorite and one of Paramount+'s proud possessions.
4. Tracker ( 2024-)
Tracker is an action drama series inspired by Jeffery Deaver's 2019 novel, The Never Game. The show centers on Colter Shaw, portrayed by Justin Hartley, a lone wolf survivalist and tracker who uses his personal trauma and instincts to help law enforcement find missing people for a reward.
It’s good to know that the series is one of CBS's most watched shows since Young Sheldon.
