There are times when even the most talented actors find themselves trapped in a bad show. Whether it's due to poor writing, weak storytelling, or a thirst to continue a show that's long dead, many actors are unable to fully shine because they're captured in bad TV shows.

1. Skeet Ulrich in Riverdale
Riverdale lost our respect somewhere in Season 2. The story that was once prominent got messed up with its weird plot sucked from the finger and cult crap. It is sad because Skeet Ulrich seems to be the actor who would nail it in any other popular show.
He has so much potential to be a great TV show character, but instead, he has to live in Groundhog Day in the series that has gone off the rails. Free our DILF.
2. Dylan O’Brien in Teen Wolf
Don't come at us with this one. Let's face it — the show went downhill after Season 4, and if it wasn't for Dylan, most of you wouldn't even finish it.
Most of the iconic scenes were given to Stiles, and Dylan embodied his character so naturally, breathing different emotions, humor, and realism into him. Admit it, the show never felt the same after his absence in Season 6.
3. Emma Roberts in Scream Queens
Emma literally carried the show on her back (she and Billie Lord). Her portrayal of a mean girl with a sharp tongue and an over-the-top personality captivated audiences. At some point in our lives, Emma taught us how to make that "mean girl" face and sassy remarks, so we owe her our lives. Long live Chanel Oberlin.
4. Viola Davis in How to Get Away with Murder
Our hands are shaking as we write this, but How to Get Away with Murder was one of those shows that gave a good start to a bad ending. While the direction of the show changed out of nowhere somewhere in the middle, Viola never stopped delivering an outstanding performance as a passionate Annalise Keating. She was the only reason we never gave up on the show because she never gave up on us.
5. Chance Perdomo in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Imagine your cousin stealing the show that bears your name. Sabrina was constantly screwing up and annoying fans with her dumb decisions, while Chance's character, Ambrose, seemed to be the perfect choice to take the helm and become the lead instead of Sabrina. Why not? He is much more interesting and funnier.
