We lack their charm so much.

The Big Bang Theory is a treasure box when it comes to the variety of different characters with their own quirks and personality traits.

The main quartet of nerdy friends + Penny are of course at the center of every storyline of the series, but these 5 characters deserve no less of our attention because they literally steal every scene they are in.

1. Barry Kripke

He is definitely one of the funniest characters in the show. Barry is the co-worker of the main guys who works at the same university as them and often comes across as a villainous character who always wants to make the guys suffer professionally.

Over the years, however, they all end up being friends of sorts, since Kripke is just another lonely nerd with the same problems and interests. Still, Kripke is a little more cringeworthy than the others because of his sleazy side.

2. Bert Kibbler

Truly the nicest and most golden retriever-like person in the entire series. Bert is a geologist who is too shy even for his profession. It was once established that he was obsessed with Amy and wanted to go out with her, but it wasn't creepy, it was heartwarming.

It was a shame to see him have such low self-esteem, but after he got that amazing grant, things only got worse because he realized that all the people who ever showed interest in him did so because of the money.

3. Zach Johnson

For 12 seasons, the show had a lot of dummies, but this one was the most likeable. Zach was Penny's boyfriend in several episodes, and the show made fans realize how stupid he was even compared to a normal person, not a scientist.

However, he was funny and nice, and unlike other athletic boys in the show, he never treated the boys or Penny badly. In the end, they all became real friends.

4. Mary Cooper

The most caring person in the entire show, and the only woman (before Amy appeared on the screen) who had any influence on Sheldon.

Mary Cooper is Sheldon's mother, who was not very bright, but had a big heart and wanted to embrace everyone. She had a special relationship with God and that made her character funny.

5. Dr. Beverly Hofstadter

In contrast to the warm and loving Mary, Beverly is this icy, logical career woman who used her son Leonard as a tool to achieve her professional goals in psychology. It's her fault that he grew up so insecure and afraid of everything.

However, every time she appears on screen, especially when the scenes are with Sheldon, it becomes a fun watch with a lot of awkward moments.
