Binge them while there's still some time.

Everybody is waiting for summertime for various reasons. We all rely on these three short but shiny months to heal us from the troubles that have been with us the whole year. And summer 2024 is promising to be very rich in new releases!

Many of our beloved shows’ new seasons are going to be released this summer, and it only means one thing: put aside whatever you are watching now and get ready to dive back into the greatest stories you once followed.

Here are 5 shows we are already rewatching and so should you.

1. House of the Dragon
Season 2: Releasing June 16 on HBO

13 years ago, the world was hit by a storm called Game of Thrones. There was almost no one who hadn't at least watched an episode or two. The show was like nothing else on TV, killing off its central characters and providing the viewers with lots of violence and nudity. The show ended after its season 8, but then came the prequel series: House of the Dragon.

The new show premiered in 2022 and became the new favorite, revealing more and more Targaryen family secrets and power struggle stories. And now, finally, two years after season 1, the second chapter will be out, focusing on the Dance of the Dragons – the bloodiest part of Targaryen history.

2. The Bear
Season 3: Releasing June 27 on FX

A comparatively new series was released in 2022, mixing drama and comedy. The Bear became a hit in an instant and even won 10 Primetime Emmys. The show was highly praised by both critics and the audience, quickly turning into a must-watch for everyone.

The series follows the life of chefs and those working in a Chicago deli shop, but it’s not as easy as it may sound at first. The cast is incredible, the stories are powerful and there are a lot of complex relationships to follow. The fans already have some expectations from the plot of the upcoming season 3.

“I’d like to see Carmy feel better and recover. I feel like a good way to do this and evolve from Season 2’s amazing format of single-character focused episodes or carrying a plot all on their own- Marcus in Copenhagen, Tina at culinary school, Ebraheim not at culinary school, Syd’s Chicago food journey, and of course Richie and forks- is to have combo episodes with Carmy,” Redditor TurbulentPlant2582 said.

3. The Boys
Season 4: Releasing June 13 on Prime

The new season of The Boys is here to take your superhero fatigue and spice it up with some satire and bloodbath… once again. The Boys is a superhero show with deeply flawed protagonists who pose themselves against those who were supposed to protect them. The new season will see Billy Butcher in his final struggle against Homelander who has brainwashed his son; and Billy himself will have to make use of the thing he used to fight against – the superpowers.

4. The Umbrella Academy
Season 4: Releasing August 8 on Netflix

One of the most amazingly written shows of past years is definitely this one. The story unfolds with the mysterious birth of 43 infants to random women who weren’t even pregnant! Only seven of them are adopted by a wealthy man who starts training them into superheroes so they would save the world. But somehow it doesn’t go according to the plan; in fact, it’s apocalypse after apocalypse. Quite literally.

5. Emily in Paris
Season 4 Part 1: Releasing August 15 on Netflix

And last but not least! Emily in Paris is coming to Netflix in August with (hopefully) a new dose of scandals and affairs. Lily Collins plays the titular character, a young American woman who leaves everything behind and moves to Paris to pursue the life of her dreams! But with the career of her life, she also finds friends, enemies, lovers, and so much more.
