Those might be angels of a different type.

If you can't contain your excitement for the second season of Neil Gaiman 's iconic series Good Omens, you're not alone.

Many fans all over the web have already started their countdowns to July to reunite with their favorite angels and demons, Aziraphale and Crowley.

There are plenty of things you can do to pass the time until season 2 hits Amazon Prime Video.

Re-watch the first season, or give a read to the original 1990s novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman that the show is based on, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch.

If all that is done, but the hunger for some angel/demon action is still there, try watching one of these shows to satisfy it instead.

Midnight Mass

This show is not even close to Good Omens in spirit, but on the same level of excellent quality. If you are looking for something darker and scarier, with an angel as the overarching antagonist, you are in for a treat.

Reaper

A great show from the mid-2000s that could be described as "Dogma meets Buffy." The main character of the show works for the devil himself and brings back the souls of those who managed to escape hell.

It's youthful, funny at times, and very entertaining to watch.

The Sandman

Another fantastic work by Neil Gaiman. Chances are you've already seen this one, but if you haven't, you should definitely check out this story of the runaway Morpheus.

Lucifer Morningstar, portrayed by Gwendoline Christie, might be another bonus.

The OA

Warning: Do not watch this show if you cannot handle the cliffhanger ending. Despite being extremely well received, this American mystery drama was unfairly canceled after two seasons on Netflix.

However, it has some pretty angelic drama and amazing writing behind the episodes.

Preacher

Preacher is everything you could want in a show: it is a great comedy at times and a great tragedy at others.

Led by Dominic Cooper, who portrays a troubled preacher with extraordinary power, the cast of the series perfectly portrays the struggles of searching for God yourself.
