Yellowjackets is a drama about a group of schoolgirls who were in a plane crash in the mid-90s and survived for a year and a half in the Canadian woods. 25 years later, a journalist comes to the surviving women to tell the truth about what they were doing while rescuers were looking for them.

The premise of this series should be familiar to any Yellowjackets fan. However, the girls in The Wilds face a different kind of obstacle: early on, we learn that they are participating in some kind of creepy social experiment.
2. The Society, 2019
A group of teenagers return from a school trip to a surprise at home: all the adults have disappeared without a trace. There is no one left in town, no parents, no restrictions.
But the euphoria of their newfound freedom quickly fades. They are completely alone, cut off from the rest of the world, supplies are limited, there is no one to maintain order, and at any moment the town could descend into chaos.
To survive and remain human, the teenagers must build a new society from scratch, establish their own rules, and find a way to return to their old lives.
3. Jericho, 2006-2008
Far from the small town of Jericho, a nuclear explosion causes its inhabitants to lose contact with the outside world. Now these ordinary people must somehow survive in isolation. They can't even find out if anyone else survived, or if their town is the last one left on Earth.
The show is a perfect example of how danger can bring out the worst in people. Due to low ratings, Jericho was about to be cancelled after the first season, but the fans insisted on a continuation.
4. Cruel Summer, 2021-2023
During the summers of 1993, 1994, and 1995, popular girl Kate goes missing in a small Texas town. With no apparent connection, a girl named Jeanette goes from being cute and awkward to being the most popular girl in town, and by 1995, the most despised person in the entire country.
The two main elements of Yellowjackets that kept viewers hooked were its '90s nostalgia and its intricate investigation – and Cruel Summer has both.
5. Dare Me, 2019-2020
Based on the book by Megan Abbott, this ten-episode series has a twisted plot and a great cast. It's also a perfect option if you're looking for another show about evil teenage girls and a mysterious murder.
Addy and Beth are best friends. But one day everything changes. The relationship between the girls begins to change after a new coach appears on the team and Addy and Beth become irreconcilable rivals. But soon the story of a love triangle is suddenly complicated by a serious crime.
