6 Friends Episodes I Always Skip on Rewatch

The series may be my favorite sitcom, and I'll never get enough of the “we were on a break” conundrum, but there are storylines I wish never existed in the show.
There's no denying that Friends is one of the most iconic sitcoms ever created on American television. The daily shenanigans of its main characters, Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe, captured the attention of the world and kept us all hooked for 10 seasons. And the strong side characters made sure that we were always invested in the plot.
The show is also the one that gets rewatched all the time. I personally have binged it like 20 times, if not more. I don't know how to explain it, but it's like you just wake up and suddenly miss those idiots and want to relive everything they went through years ago.
Well, almost everything... Despite my genuine love for the show and its characters, there are some episodes I skip every time I rewatch. They just seem so boring and completely unnecessary that I can't help but fast-forward through them.
It's funny, though, that I researched the same topic on reddit, trying to find out if there were other people like me who like to skip. Turns out there are, but they chose completely different episodes!
Well, finally, here's my choice of 6 in no particular order.
1. The One with the Fake Monica (S1, E21)
I started skipping this episode very early on, probably on my third rewatch. And I've asked around, there's no one who hates this episode more than I do. And the reason why? I have no clue.
Well, it's just stupid. The premise of the episode is that Monica worries about her card being stolen, then when she finally finds out who is responsible, she joins the thief-woman and lets her spend more of her money, befriends her, and ends up envying the thief's life as "fake Monica".
2. The One with the Bullies (S2, E21)
This episode just cringes me out. We all know that the gang spends 90% of their time at Central Perk, right? So the episode follows Ross and Chandler as they encounter bullies sitting on the couch and refusing to move.
Watching grown men bully another set of grown men is just cringeworthy, and the fact that it took Ross and Chandler the whole episode to decide to stand up for themselves is just pathetic.
3. The One with the Baby on the Bus (S2, E6)
I always skip this one because the actually horrible thing there was portrayed as a "meh" inconvenience. In this episode, Joey and Chandler had to babysit Ben, but they decided to take him to the park. And chose to take a bus instead of a taxi because some cute girls complimented them with the baby.
The result is stupid. They leave the baby on the bus and then find him at some governmental place where he was taken off the bus. Nobody seems to care too much, not even Ross when he finds out what his two friends did.
4. The One After the Superbowl: Part 1 and 2 (S2 E12,13)
This is a two-part episode, and I hate each of them equally. I always skip the first one because of the Marcel storyline. The episode explains that Marcel came back to California to shoot the new movie and Ross comes to visit him. I mean, enough with the monkey!
The second part is the worst because of the story with Julia Roberts' character who seems so out of place. Both her acting and the plot twist with her plotting revenge on Chandler because of something he did at school is dull and should have never existed.
5. The One Where Ross and Rachel Take a Break (S3, E15)
This is the episode I don't really skip, but there is a lot of fast-forwarding going on. The first annoying storyline is Phoebe and her date who doesn't speak English, so they go on an awkward date with an interpreter and Monica. But of course the worst part of the episode is Chloe and Ross and their cheap one-night stand that ruins everything.
6. The One with Phoebe's Husband (S2, E4)
I'll keep this short. We always knew Phoebe was crazy, but to find out she married a gay Canadian ice skater to help him get a green card AND hoped he would fall in love with her is just cuckoo.
