This is the American remake of an older British series of the same name. But this revival features a recognizable cast, decent special effects, and a compelling plot. Starring Robbie Amell (The Flash, The Babysitter), Peyton List (Mad Men, Gotham) and Mark Pellegrino (Supernatural, Lost), the series follows a group of evolved human outcasts known as the Tomorrow People.

Though each has their own amazing abilities, such as teleportation, telekinesis, and telepathy, they are hunted by agents of a private agency called Ultra. They must learn to work together if they hope to survive.

A two-episode miniseries about an asteroid on a collision course with Earth and a group of scientists who must race to find a solution to save the world. The premise sounds pretty simple, but this high-stakes race against time has a real star-studded cast, including Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future, The Addams Family), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, Cliffhanger), Stacy Keach (Prison Break, Blue Bloods ) and Jason Alexander (Seinfeld).

Watch it on: Fubo, Peacock, The Roku Channel, Tubi, Crackle, Pluto TV, Shout TV, Plex, Freevee, Xumo Play

Farscape is a much wilder space series than fans of the more conventional Star Trek might be used to. An Australian-American production, the series begins with an American astronaut, John Crichton, who is caught in a wormhole and transported to a distant part of the universe. Finding himself on board with a group of escaped alien refugees, John must quickly make friends in order to survive this new world.

The fact that the show is co-produced by the Jim Henderson Company also means that the series has some fantastic special effects, various alien make-up and prosthetics, and even two spectacular animatronic puppets.
