8. Bamora
Who says aliens have to be scary? At the end of the second season of the anime, Bamora appeared – a mysterious beauty hiding in the body of a kaiju.
When she woke up, she suddenly attacked Ken and kissed him in front of Momo. Why? It turns out that her home planet has been invaded and that she is one of the last of her species.
In order to continue her lineage, she needs a suitable man so she chose an earthling. This alien visitor will play a crucial role in the third season.
7. Kinta Sakata
Kinta, Ken's classmate, is an otaku and a Gundam fan. He secretly watched Ken, trying to figure out how he won the hearts of two beautiful girls. Instead, however, Kinta found himself caught in a battle with a giant kaiju similar to Godzilla.
When he found himself on the battlefield, the meticulous and resourceful young man didn't lose his composure – in fact, he was overjoyed, as if he had been waiting for this his whole life. Now, he finally had the chance to show off his skills operating a giant robot.
6. Jin Enjoji
Jin is a handsome young man and Momo's childhood friend. He first appears on her doorstep with a request, and a dangerous trip to his hometown brings them closer.
Jin's body is possessed by the ancient spirit Evil Eye, which grants him immense power but causes him to lose control. Jin is kind and compassionate, often helping others at his own expense.
5. Aira Shiratori
Aira Shiratori is a high school student who gained supernatural abilities after being haunted by a ghost. She cares about her appearance and loves being the center of attention.
After befriending Ken and Momo, she began competing with Momo for Ken's attention and their hilarious bickering is endlessly entertaining. Aira seems sweet and fragile, but when she's angry, she reveals an arrogant and cruel side.
She readily fights back against anyone she dislikes, using her strong character and the ghostly abilities she gained after her transformation.
4. Seiko Ayase
We all wish we could look like Seiko Ayase when we grow old. Not only is the main character's grandmother youthful and stylish, she's also in excellent athletic shape and swings a baseball bat with such force that it's hard to resist.
Seiko is a spiritual medium who knows all about spirits, curses, and how to protect against them. She helps Momo and her friends fight supernatural enemies and offers the high school students practical advice.
Seiko is a strong, confident woman who remains calm in any situation, but it's best not to anger her.
3. Turbo Granny
The most striking character in Dandadan is Turbo Granny. This evil spirit used to haunt a tunnel, frightening men with her lustful speech as she sought revenge for the unfortunate girls. Her wrath even overtook the innocent Ken.
She's terrifying in her true form, but when her soul was placed in a maneki-neko's body, viewers nearly melted from cuteness overload. Turbo Granny looks adorable, but she still grumbles loudly.
Turbo Granny joined the team, and now she fights supernatural creatures and aliens alongside the high school students.
2. Ken Takakura
Ken Takakura is a shy young man with a lot of energy and a passion for proving the existence of UFOs. His fascination with alien magazines caught Momo's eye, beginning their friendship and a life full of adventures and battles with not only aliens, but also ghosts.
After falling victim to Turbo Granny, Ken gained his supernatural powers. During his transformation, he gains strength and charisma, as well as a strong desire to flirt with Momo while protecting her from threats.

Momo Ayase is the main character of Dandadan. Brave and determined, she stands up to anyone – bully, ghost, or alien – following the teachings of her grandmother and Turbo Granny.
Although she had heard stories of the supernatural since childhood, she didn't believe in them until she encountered ghosts and aliens with Ken.
When she found herself in danger, Momo awakened her psychic abilities – she can now control objects remotely using their aura. She doesn't like to run away and is ready to fight to the end, especially when her friends are in danger.
