8 Insanely Binge-Worthy TV Series That Got Me Hooked From the First Episode

Here are new hits, dark detective shows, and medical dramas that you won't be able to tear yourself away from.
Today, dozens of TV series are released, but not all of them can attract viewers' attention enough to make them binge-watch all the episodes in one sitting.
These eight projects are guaranteed to keep you glued to the screen, as they did with me.

Streaming Platform: HBO Max
Sergeant Mare tries to save the family from complete collapse while investigating the disappearance of one girl and the terrible murder of another – a 17-year-old single mother.

2. 'Paradise', 2025-...
IMDb Score: 7.9/10

Paradise is set not in the distant future but in an alternative reality in which people who foresaw the end of the world built a massive underground bunker.
The first person they evacuate is the US president, whose security is handled by Xavier Collins. However, when Collins takes his next shift, he finds the president dead in his bedroom.
Paradise is filmed according to a familiar detective formula, in which the main character and the viewer must figure out the killer and his motive. But it has such a gripping intrigue that it will keep you glued to the screen until the last episode.
3. 'Servant', 2019-2023
IMDb Score: 7.4/10
Streaming Platform: Apple TV+
All you need to know is that the showrunner of Servant is M. Night Shyamalan. The Apple TV series features all of the director's signature elements, including absurdist dialogue and plot twists that won't be fully revealed until the finale.
The series tells the story of a married couple, the Turners. Dorothy is a successful TV journalist and Sean is a sought-after chef. The couple tries to cope with the loss of their newborn son by buying a realistic doll.
The problem is that Dorothy and Leanne, the young nanny who has joined the family, soon begin to believe that the baby is alive.
4. 'The Pitt', 2025-...

The Pitt is a sensation among the new series of the year – a show that, in 15 episodes, covers a full 15-hour shift in the emergency room. The entire first season takes place over the course of one workday.
In The Pitt, something happens every minute: new diagnoses are made, and complex operations are performed. We get to know the characters as the story progresses because there's no time for anything else – lives are at stake.
The Pitt is a rare series that sucks you in and doesn't let go until the workday ends. It's 15 hours of intense, brilliantly written, and superbly acted television.
5. 'How to Get Away with Murder', 2014-2020
IMDb Score: 8.1/10

Keating promises to hire the most talented students for her firm. Ambitious students do everything they can to impress Annalise. At the same time, however, they must solve non-academic problems, such as hiding a real corpse.
How to Get Away with Murder is one of those series that should have ended a couple of seasons earlier. Rest assured, though, that the first three seasons will definitely destroy your sleep schedule – it's impossible to tear yourself away from the screen.

IMDb Score: 8.2/10

Money Heist was originally broadcast on Spanish television and didn't enjoy any particular popularity. Then, Netflix picked it up and re-edited the episodes and seasons to make them more intense.
The show then became a hit not only in Spain, but also in many other countries. Its popularity stems from the combination of an incredibly dynamic plot with a huge number of unexpected twists and well-developed characters.
