How long do we have to wait till they finally happen together onscreen?

Sometimes actors bear such an uncanny resemblance that it's hard to believe they're not related.

The physical similarity, mannerisms, or even on-screen presence together could create a great opportunity for their performances as family members to be captivating.

Here are 5 pairs of actors we believe share odd similarities that make them ideal duos for portraying relatives in movies or TV shows.

1. Orlando Bloom and Luke Evans

Although the actors had a chance to star in two Hobbit films, they, unfortunately, never played related characters.

While Luke portrayed an ordinary man who was able to slay the dragon Smaug, Orlando returned to his iconic role as the Sindar Elf Legolas.

And though we didn't get a chance to see these look-alikes on screen together, fans are still hoping that the two actors can finally capitalize on their resemblance and work on some mutual projects in the future.

2. Emma Stone and Jane Levy

Emma Stone and Jane Levy have an uncanny resemblance that often goes underappreciated. Both actresses possess red hair and a similar sarcastic and witty acting style, making them a perfect match on screen.

Plus, Jane and Emma's singing talents add another layer of potential for a dynamic duo of actresses, and maybe one day we will see them in a musical.

3. Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Not only their physical resemblance but also their ability to portray complex characters with ease has led to numerous comparisons and speculation about their potential on-screen collaboration.

Whether it's their piercing eyes or their ability to exude intensity, Bardem and Morgan's disconcerting similarities certainly make for an intriguing duo.

4. Amy Adams and Isla Fisher

It is hard to ignore another pair of redheaded doppelgängers whose similarities are constantly being told about. They are so similar to each other that even Isla Fisher's husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, can't resist joking about it.

The actresses' resemblance was finally acknowledged in the movie Nocturnal Animals, where Fisher portrayed a book character of Adams' character.

While we got a small glimpse of the possible on-screen duo, we still hope to see the actresses as sisters one day, preferably in a comedy or rom-com in the spirit of the 2000s.

5. Peter Dinklage and Hugh Laurie

Unexpected, but very possible brotherhood. Fans of Game of Thrones and House would undoubtedly find the similarities between Tyrion Lannister and Dr. Gregory House fascinating, considering their physical resemblance.

We believe it would be interesting to see these two as bickering, sarcastic brothers with a long-held grudge on screen. It could be a fun experience.
