Adam Sandler's wife is taking charge of his acting during romantic scenes. And it is adorable.

While Adam Sandler is known for his comedic skills, he has starred in several romantic movies that are beloved by audiences to this day. Movies like The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, and Blended are the rom-coms that warm the hearts of viewers and make them believe in love.

Of course, the success of Sandler's romantic movies is owing to both his acting talent and dynamics with his on-screen colleagues, especially Drew Barrymore, who was his co-star in all three of the above-mentioned films. It is not surprising that the actors have an amazing chemistry that is highly praised by the audiences. After all, they have long been one of the closest friends in Hollywood.

Fans know that these two just can't stop complementing each other and supporting each other's projects.

Barrymore even once said that Sandler was her "cinematic soul mate." No matter how deep their friendship is, it is just that. A friendship. The best proof of that is the hilarious reaction of Sandler's wife to their intimate scenes.

The co-stars discussed the reaction on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. And as it turned out, Adam's wife Jackie Sandler had never been the least bit jealous of her husband kissing another woman on camera. In fact, she encouraged him to do better.

"My wife loves Drew so much that she encourages me. There's no jealousy at all. She's just like, 'Get in there!'" Sandler said to the laughter of the audience.

Barrymore, who turned out to be Jackie's friend as well as Adam's, agreed with Sandler, recalling that she often saw his wife berating him behind the camera when he was not acting romantic enough.

"She yells at me!" Sandler revealed. He recalled a scene from Blended when Jim surprised Lauren with a romantic dinner, and they kissed.

"And I think I'm doing pretty great being as romantic as I can be," the actor described. "And I'm walking away and I just see my wife like (shaking her head)."

It turned out that Jackie, who was on the set of Blended because she was playing a minor role, didn't even remotely enjoy Sandler's performance as much as he did.

"Just please, for the sake of women, get in there and just look a little more alive," Sandler imitated his wife saying.
