Age ain't nothin' but a number for Twin Peaks' hottest actress.

David Lynch managed to assemble an incredible number of beautiful women in Twin Peaks. Each of them has gained an impressive fan following. All of them were good looking and unique, each in her own way: Cheryl Lee, Lara Flynn Boyle, Sherilyn Fenn, Peggy Lipton, Joan Chen. In practically every episode, Twin Peaks had beautiful women, even if in a supporting role.

One such supporting cast member without whom Twin Peaks just wouldn't have been complete was Madchen Amick, who played Shelly Johnson, a waitress at the Double R Diner where Agent Cooper got his favourite coffee.

An interesting piece of trivia: initially Madchen auditioned for the role of Donna but didn't get it. David Lynch, however, just couldn't get her out of his head so he created a role especially for her.

Madchen reprised her role as Shelly in the 2017 Twin Peaks sequel. She hadn't been without roles before that either, having appeared in several movies. Over the past five years she's also been playing Alice Smith on the popular TV series Riverdale.

Madchen turned 52 last December. She doesn't look much younger than her age but she's still quite beautiful, especially next to Lara Flynn Boyle, who went through a series of plastic surgeries with rather unfortunate results.

You can find Madchen Amick on social media where she regularly shares selfies without filters or makeup. She does try to look nice in the photos but she's clearly not hiding her wrinkles. She probably does get consults on cosmetics and is not averse to fillers. But we can't detect any traces of plastic surgery on her face.

In a recent interview, the actress said that the secret to her beauty is healthy living, plus regular massage, skin hydration and consistent use of sunscreens. Well, what can we say: health and fitness obviously can help you look good and healthy at any age.
