AI Turns MCU Heroes Into 80s Wrestlers (And Shows No Mercy to Hawkeye)
Who would actually be the strongest of all, that is the question.
The beauty of AI-generated content is that it's never boring. With many free and paid tools available, you can literally create anything that comes to mind, no matter how ridiculous the idea may seem.
AI won't condemn you for it, just mess up a few fingers or throw in a few fake facts at worst.
A recent post on Midjourney's Reddit is the result of generating various MCU characters in the most unexpected way.
Instead of using their superpowers to fight enemies on a real battlefield, which is how fans are used to seeing them, both superheroes and supervillains have been depicted as 80s professional wrestlers fighting each other in a boxing ring.
There is a close resemblance to the given aesthetic, down to the coloring of the images, as well as nice details in the heroes' costumes.
However, Midjourney wasn't able to capture the actors' faces all the time, which is why most of the pictures look more like comic illustrations than a parallel universe for the movies.
However, some interesting similarities have been noted by fans commenting on the post. For example, the image of Doctor Strange looks a little too much like Will Ferrell.

Scarlett Johansson 's face, on the other hand, is clearly visible in the picture, but as an opponent to the real Black Widow.
Hawkeye may be the least fortunate of all, with fans saying he looks like he still hasn't recovered from that snowplow incident.
Not all decisions AI made with this prompt were too bad. Reddit user chris3000 pointed out a pretty cool creative liberty Midjourney took while generating a Hulk image:
"Sometimes Midjourney makes decisions that seem truly creative. For example, making Hulk have green boxing gloves so that his hands have enough size. And also that means that Midjourney doesn't have to draw hands, so win/win".
