Until Dawn is a film adaptation of Supermassive Games' most famous project of the same name. Despite its modest $15 million budget, the film has already grossed $49 million and continues to earn revenue.
While critics gave Until Dawn low scores, ordinary viewers and fans of the game were more favorable, giving it 68% on Rotten Tomatoes.
One year after Melanie's mysterious disappearance, her sister, Clover, and four friends go to the abandoned mining town where Melanie was last seen. Having lost their way, the group stops at an empty tourist center.
Once inside, they discover that they are being hunted by a masked killer. However, as soon as Clover and her friends are killed by him, they immediately return to the tourist center.

Ryan Coogler's Sinners is restoring faith in big cinema. It is the first original film (not a sequel or adaptation of existing IP) to earn $200 million at the US box office in eight years, since Pixar's animated movie Coco.

Clown in a Cornfield chose a different path – rather than becoming a new word in the genre, it returned viewers to the good old slashers of the '90s.
Clown in a Cornfield is an absolute success for its creators, earning eighth place at the box office with $6 million in revenue and a budget of only $1 million.
The main character, Quinn, moves to a small town with her father to start a new life. Suddenly, Frendo, a terrible clown who was previously known as the town's mascot, begins killing kids. Now, Quinn must defeat the killer.
