Before she was the Mother Monster we know today, Lady Gaga made her acting debut as “Girl at Swimming Pool #2” in The Sopranos.

Years later, Gaga reflected on the experience in an interview to Entertainment Weekly, saying:

“I didn't know how to listen in a scene! I was supposed to laugh, and it was sort of like, cue, laugh.... I see it and I go, 'oh, that's not a real laugh!'”

Plus, her song “Aura” perfectly fits in with Machete Kills universe.

While some critics were divided on the movie, everyone agreed that Gaga's performance was a standout. She even lived as Patrizia for more than a year and a half to nail the role.
