All the Shows I’m Currently Watching, Ranked From Best to ‘It Can Wait’

Having only one thing to watch is so boring, especially now that so many amazing shows are in the middle of their stories. I watch a lot of stuff at the same time — and here’s my own ranking.
As an avid TV watcher, I can't remember a time when I wasn't watching at least one show on my laptop. In the morning while getting ready, during breakfast or dinner, sometimes in the shower (don't do that) — if I love a show, I can binge it all in one sitting without a second thought.
With so many perfect and highly hyped shows that only release one episode per week, I am now immersed in a variety of series that each offer something unique. From legal dramas to dark comedies, here's my ranking of the six shows I'm currently binge-watching.
1. Severance ( Season 2)
I don't think there was any doubt that I was going to start with anything other than Severance. Even though there are many fans of the franchise who are a little angry at the writers and the whole creative team for throwing so many secrets at us, the show is still one of the best sci-fi dramas of the last few years.
With stunning performances from Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette and the rest of the cast, watching Severance is my favorite part of every Friday when a new episode comes out. The plot is unpredictable and thought-provoking, and it keeps me on the edge of my seat every week.
2. The White Lotus (Season 3)
Coming in second is The White Lotus season 3. Mike White's dark comedy-drama has once again proven why it's such a cultural phenomenon. After the stunning success of seasons 1 and 2, expectations were high for season 3, and it doesn't disappoint.
The show's mix of dark suspense with biting social commentary and often witty humor, mixed together with shocking twists, is everything I need from a show like this. Adding a brilliant cast that fills the characters with a profound depth, The White Lotus is a must watch for everyone.
3. Matlock (Season 1)
My love for legal dramas is unconditional, and CBS' Matlock became a perfect addition to my list of favorites. Thanks to the amazing Kathy Bates, Matlock brings a fresh perspective to the genre, making her character Matty a multi-layered character with so many sides to explore in the future.
4. Abbott Elementary ( Season 4)
Enough with the drama! Which is why Abbott Elementary is here on my top. After watching The Office, I never thought another mockumentary would end up as my favorite show in this style. I have a soft spot for ensemble cast shows, and Abbott Elementary has the perfect cast with both kids and adults that are fun to follow.
Even though it's a sitcom, the show still explores a lot of important issues and has many heartfelt moments paired with the relatable struggles of teachers in underfunded schools. It all strikes the perfect balance between comedy and emotional depth.
5. Elsbeth ( Season 2)
I started watching Elsbeth when the second season was already airing, so for me there was no gap between the two chapters and it feels like I've been watching one long season. The main character, Elsbeth, is portrayed by the amazing Carrie Preston, who puts her heart and soul into her role. Elsbeth is an amazing person and watching her create her life is a great experience.
6. Krapopolis (Season 2)
Finally, Krapopolis season 2 rounds out my list. As a huge fan of animated series, I find this cartoon an underrated gem and recommend it to everybody who asks me about what to watch if you are in a silly mood. Krapopolis offers a mix of absurd humor and satirical view on mythology, and does it perfectly with enough character development that we actually start to care about them all.
