And Just Like That’s season 3 trailer has recently dropped, and Sex and the City’s fans are once again brought together in a heated discussion of what the entire sequel is there for after all, but some might actually be enjoying it.
The series has been holding a controversial reputation ever since its launch in 2021, becoming one more example of something that no one asked for. Conceived as a means to keep the Sex and the City franchise alive after a third movie got shelved, the initially limited series went way too far, now getting things ready for a third season’s release planned for May.
What SATC Fans Hate About And Just Like That
Well, it’s pretty obvious — after roughly three years of And Just Like That with one more season coming up, many still feel like the original show’s carefully built idea went down the drain in the sequel, just like that.
“Has anyone else felt absolutely nothing watching this? I don't want to hate it. I do, but I don't want to. SATC is my second favorite show of all time (and I watch a lot of them). It's the only show I ever bothered buying all the DVDs. It's a part of my life. But I feel absolutely nothing watching AJLT”, Redditor JessicaJonessJacket confessed in a thread.
Others, however, were more specific, slamming the series’ creators for some major changes in the plot line.
“The vibe does seem more of the original series I'll admit-but I'm sorry, I just can’t get with Miranda being a lesbian. It's a complete rewrite from history. [...] I can’t get behind Carrie and Aiden because it’s just lazy writing”, user gay13445 stated.

Still, Others Admit And Just Like That New Season Might Be ‘Fun’
Unlike many of those who can’t see Sex and the City’s legacy being ruined, other fans might have accepted harsh reality, with some saying the sequel’s new instalment may not even be that bad after all.
