Ready to add them all to your playlist?

Are you a music geek like me and have several playlists for every mood? There's one called "Autumn 2011" with all the best indie songs of the time, another with the best hits of System of a Down and Serj Tankian's solo masterpieces, there's also a playlist with all the latest Brazilian funk (and Phonk too, sorry) songs, and the list goes on.

But I also like to divide my playlists by different occasions, like a special New Year's and Christmas edition, or a beachy summer playlist. There's also a special list for Valentine's Day. Here are 11 of the best love songs ever made, so you can listen to them on your date.

BONUS! Here comes a lifehack. Remember how your favorite sitcom characters used to make a mix tape of different songs that were special to their significant others? Well, feel free to use this playlist to tell your loved ones how you feel.

Now, let’s feel the love in the air.

1. "I Will Always Love You" – Whitney Houston

A powerful ballad that expresses everlasting devotion. This song is an anthem for true love. And my dream is to sing it at my wedding.

2. "I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing" – Aerosmith

You won't believe how many times I've listened to this song with tears in my eyes, imagining someone dedicating such words to me. The hit is 27 years old now, but still as relevant as always.

3. "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You" – Elvis Presley

This is a classic, right? The simple, gentle, yet profound song that is definitely your best slow dance choice.

4. "I Just Called to Say I Love You" – Stevie Wonder

One of my favorite songs that makes sure everyone knows how important it is to say "I love you" to the people you care about without a special occasion.

5. "All of Me" – John Legend

John Legend dedicated this anthem to the beauty of love to his wife, and that detail alone gives us much to think about. The lyrics are simply amazing, emphasizing that love is also about vulnerability and the joy of giving yourself completely to your partner.

6. "Perfect" – Ed Sheeran

I'm not sure if Ed Sheeran knew he was releasing a bop when he first performed the song in 2017. I think it's definitely the number one song for all the first dances at weddings in recent years. Sheeran here points out once again how lucky people are to find true love.

7. "My Heart Will Go On" – Celine Dion

There was no way I was going to ignore this hit. Maybe it's gotten a little mainstream over the years, but the lyrics still hit hard every time. Celine Dion is definitely a legend.

8. "Jolene" – Dolly Parton

Love song with a twist: Dolly begs another girl, Jolene, not to take his man away from him. The only hope is that Jolene is a girl's girl.

9. "It’s You" – Ali Gatie

A song that serves as a reminder that with the right person everything is easy.

10. "More Than This" – Roxy Music

This 1982 hit is my favorite for many reasons. Bryan Ferry’s magnificent voice is number one.

11. "Someone You Loved" – Lewis Capaldi

Sometimes even great love stories end. It happens to the best of us, and there's no way to predict the end of a relationship. But with the help of Lewis Capaldi, it may be a little easier to survive a breakup.
