We have nowhere to run from it.

Despite never featuring Lady Gaga 's Bloody Mary on its soundtrack, Netflix 's Wednesday does have the song as its unofficial viral hymn as people continue to mimic the iconic dance by Jenna Ortega on social media.

Netflix has acknowledged the impact of the song by adding it into the short clip announcing the renewal of the show for season 2. Even Lady Gaga herself was quick to react to the viral challenge and did the Wednesday dance on her own social media, apparently on track to make the best out of the sudden popularity of her 2010 song.

At this point, fans believe that Gaga has to make a cameo in Wednesday season 2. Calls to cast her in second season are already spreading on social media, even though few people actually care whether the singer's appearance would make sense story-wise.

"Lady Gaga in Wednesday season 2 would literally be the gag of the century. I can see this happening [to be honest]. Tim Burton is camp like that," Twitter user LMonsterReacts said.

Moreover, Lady Gaga herself reposted the season 2 teaser in her Instagram — most likely because of her own song featured in the clip, but many fans are already panicking over the fact that she might be actually, very seriously, be involved in the production.

Yes, Wednesday Season 2 Might Make Wenclair Canon - or Ruin It Completely

There has been no official statements on that, even though Gaga herself seems to be very open to the idea. Even though her involvement in the show is seen by many people as "cheesy", the majority of the fandom is demanding that Netflix just roll with it and sign Gaga up. According to fans, her cameo would "break the Internet", especially if she would, say, substitute a certain deceased headmaster (if you know you know).

Wednesday season 2 has been officially greenlit by Netflix over the weekend, but the premiere date is yet to be scheduled.
