We bet you’ve never tried cooking meat this way.

Each country’s cuisine has its own ways to approach all kinds of food, though sometimes you might encounter something pretty extraordinary and exotic even in the most traditional recipes. For instance, the Scottish way of preparing patties also includes an egg put inside — and the dish actually turns out delicious.

Ingredients: 200 g of ground beef, 4 eggs (2 for the filling, 1 for the mixture, 1 for breading), 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tbsp of parsley, 50 g of breadcrumbs, flour for breading, vegetable oil for frying, salt and black pepper to taste.

Chop the onion and garlic, then mix them with the ground meat. Add the egg, herbs, a bit of breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and let it rest for a few minutes.

Boil the eggs so the yolks remain soft, then peel them. Shape the ground meat into patties, place an egg in the center, and gently close them up, forming cutlets.

Coat each one first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs. Fry in a skillet until golden brown on all sides, then cover and cook through over low heat.
