Better Than the Drive-Thru: The 5-Minute No-Patty Garlic Burgers You Can Make at Home
A perfect option for a house party with friends.
Have you ever had to decide what to offer to your guests at a party, except for typical burgers from McDonalds’ or Burger King that you’d been eating too much lately? Well, if that’s the case, this recipe for the simplest garlic-flavored burgers can save your day and become the best snack your guests will ever try.
In fact, these are made with a bit unusual, but perfectly fitting ingredients that will make your burgers richer in taste, so save the recipe for the next time you hang out with friends in your backyard.
Here’s what you need: 4 burger buns, 1 smoked chicken breast, 2–3 tablespoons of mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, ketchup and mustard to taste, 4 slices of processed cheese, 150 g of hard cheese, 30 g of butter, 2 cloves of garlic.
Cut the buns in half and place them in a baking dish. Spread mustard on the bottom halves and top with slices of processed cheese. Shred or slice the smoked chicken breast, then mix it with mayonnaise and ketchup until it forms a moist mixture.
Spread the filling over the cheese, sprinkle with grated hard cheese, and cover with the top halves of the buns.
Mix the butter with minced garlic and brush it onto the tops of the buns. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
You can add pickled cucumbers, onions, and tomato slices to the filling, just like in a classic burger.
