Big Brother 3: where are they now? One of them finally won a Big Brother title 21 years later

Big Brother 3 aired in the summer of 2002, which means the houseguests entered a home with no smartphones, no social media and no idea that one of them would still be doing press for this show in 2026.

Twelve people went in. One came out with $500,000. Another came out with a grudge and a legacy. Let's check in on everybody.

Lisa Donahue, the winner

Lisa was the show's first female winner, beating Danielle Reyes in a 9-1 jury vote that fans still argue about. She dabbled in acting afterward and now runs a photography business in Los Angeles. In 2021 she shared that she'd undergone a hysterectomy after a stage 2 cancer diagnosis. Still the champ. Still the first.

Danielle Reyes, the reason the rules changed

Danielle controlled that house with Jason Guy, never touched the block until the final three, and lost 9-1 because the jury wasn't sequestered and got to watch her diary-room sessions from home. The show sequestered every jury after that. She is, in the community's phrase, the Greatest Player to Never Win, a title Screen Rant used in its headline when she returned for Big Brother: Reindeer Games in 2023, 21 years after her first summer in the house.

She didn't win that either (seventh). She went on to The Traitors. She's turned up on Big Brother 28 and Big Brother: Unlocked this August. And when Taylor Hale became the first Black woman to win the game in 2022, exactly twenty years to the day after Danielle's finale, Danielle posted: "New Queen is in the house! Congratulations Taylor! I'm so proud of you."

Twenty-one years later, the one title Big Brother could finally hand her is the one it made up for her. She wears it better than most people wear a trophy.

Jason Guy, the other half of the alliance

Danielle's secret partner went into broadcasting and became a news anchor, picking up regional awards for breaking coverage along the way. Married, two daughters, a senior basset hound named Tanner. The most wholesome ending of the bunch, which tracks.

Marcellas Reynolds, the one who should have used the veto

Marcellas is a bit of a legend for the wrong reason (he won the veto, didn't use it on himself, went home). He's since become an entertainment reporter and author. His book Supreme Models, about Black women who changed fashion, landed on Vogue's best-books list in 2019, and he followed it with Supreme Actresses. Redemption arc: complete.

Everyone else, speed round

• Amy Crews runs a real-estate appraisal business down on the Gulf. Practical.
• Roddy Mancuso and Chiara Berti, the house showmance, did not last, and you knew that.
• Gerry Lancaster, the house's elder statesman, went back to a life with no cameras in it.
• Josh Feinberg, Eric Ouellette, Lori Olson and Tonya Paoni mostly stepped away from television, which in 2026 makes them the most radical people on this list.

Why this season still matters

BB3 introduced the Power of Veto. It caused the sequestered jury. It gave the franchise its first female winner and its favorite runner-up. Every season since has been running on rules this cast broke.

Half the modern game exists because twelve people in 2002 didn't know what they were doing.

Somewhere in Los Angeles a photographer has a $500,000 check framed. Somewhere in Fairfield, California, a woman who never got one is still the name every new houseguest gets compared to. That's not a bad legacy for a summer.
