Brad Pitt Would Act With Tom Cruise Again on One Strict Condition

Brad Pitt is down to reunite with Tom Cruise as long as the latter follows one strict rule, which can actually be a serious deal-breaker.
Back in the '90s, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise starred together in Interview with the Vampire. That was the last time they worked together.
Why? Well, they were just too different. Pitt's laid-back approach to acting was the polar opposite of Cruise's famous intensity and perfectionism.
“He bugged me. There came a point during filming when I started really resenting him. He’s North Pole, I’m South. He’s always coming at you with a handshake, whereas I may bump into you,” Pitt revealed (via Far Out Magazine).
Fast Forward: Pitt Is Ready to Work With Tom Cruise Under 1 Rule
Now, with Brad Pitt preparing for his upcoming film, F1: The Movie, talk of a potential reunion has picked up again thanks to Pitt himself.
In fact: he seems to want nothing to do with Cruise's nonsense, which is hilarious. In a recent interview with E! News, he joked:
“Well, I’m not gonna hang my ass off airplanes and s– like that. So when he does something again that’s on the ground [then yes].”
Fun fact: F1: The Movie shares some DNA with Cruise's blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick. Both films have the same director (Joseph Kosinski) and producer (Jerry Bruckheimer). And that makes us think that it would be awesome to see Pitt and Cruise in a blockbuster together.
Is a New Movie With Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise Even Possible?
Sad news: despite Pitt talking about the potential reunion, it's very unlikely to have these two back on our screens. Their acting styles are still as different as ever.
But never say never in Hollywood! If someone writes a script without any aircraft, skyscrapers, or moving vehicles (basically anything that could tempt Cruise to do something crazy) we might see these two legends share the screen again.
Until then, we'll have to settle for rewatching Interview with the Vampire.
